What kind of effect, if any, has this ruling had on those conducting PCSOT exams in Arizona? Have there been any major changes as a result?IP: Logged |

I don't do PCSOT in Arizona, just thought I would share and get comments from those conducting tests in Arizona. I would think examiners would ask for additional victims, tell the offender to not give any identifiers that would allow probation to find the victims and provide necessary information for treatment rather than for prosecution. It is treatment. IP: Logged |

The defense challenged A.R.S 13-4066, which provides privileged communication in sex offender treatment. The statute can be viewed here: http://www.azleg.state.az.us/FormatDocument.asp?inDoc=/ars/13/04066.htm&Title=13&D ocType=ARS There have been no significant modifications to procedures since the ruling, which was made at the end of August 2010.
